What Is Krillion?
Krillion is a daily rare-answer game where the goal isn’t just to be right — it’s to be rare. Every day brings a new Krillion daily dive: 7 quick prompts,25 seconds each, and one typed answer per prompt. Instead of a single correct solution, each prompt hides a whole answer sheet of roughly 15–25 accepted answers ranked across six rarity tiers. The obvious pick barely sinks you as Plankton, worth 5 points; a genuinely obscure answer can score 100 points as One in a Krillion.
When you play the Krillion game online on this site you get the complete loop for free: a fresh daily challenge every midnight UTC, progressive hints when you are stuck, full answer sheets after each dive, and unlimited practice with the entire question bank. No account, no download — the krillion game runs anywhere, on desktop and mobile.
This site is an unofficial, fan-made practice edition with its own hand-written prompt bank, so the question rotation here is original. How to Play Krillion
Start today’s Daily Dive
Press Begin Descent in the Krillion game above — it runs right here in your browser. There is nothing to download and no sign-up, and today's dive is the same seven prompts for every player in the world.
Read the prompt
Every round is a quick “Name a …” question from categories like geography, animals, food, sports, movies and everyday life.
Type one answer in 25 seconds
The first idea in your head is usually the most common answer. The longer you think inside the 25-second window, the deeper your answer can go.
Check your rarity tier
Your answer is matched against the prompt’s answer sheet and instantly graded from Plankton (5 points) up to One in a Krillion (100 points).
Survive all 7 prompts
Your total score converts into dive depth at 10 meters per point — a perfect dive takes you 7,000 meters under the surface.
Come back tomorrow — or keep going
A fresh Daily Dive starts at 00:00 UTC every day, and Unlimited mode is always open for extra practice rounds.
How Krillion Scoring Works
Krillion scoring rewards depth of thought, not speed. After each answer is submitted, it is checked against that prompt’s answer sheet and graded into one of six rarity tiers. Your final score is the sum of all seven rounds, and it converts directly into dive depth at 10 meters per point — so 385 points means you dove 3,850 meters.
The tier table below shows exactly what each rarity band is worth in the Krillion game. Notice the trap: the “clever” answer everyone thinks of — the tomato among fruits, the Go among board games — is still common, because thousands of players give it too.
| Rarity Tier | Points | Depth | What it means |
|---|---|---|---|
| Plankton | +5 | 50 m | The first answer that pops into almost every player's head. Valid, but everyone found it. |
| Too Clever | +10 | 100 m | The cheeky answer every try-hard gives. Feels smart, yet thousands of players give it too. |
| Schooler | +25 | 250 m | A solid answer that swims with the school. Plenty of players land here. |
| Rare | +40 | 400 m | Now you are thinking. Only a small share of players sink this deep. |
| Deep Cut | +60 | 600 m | A genuinely deep answer. Most players never reach this depth. |
| One in a Krillion | +100 | 1000 m | The rarest of the rare. If you found this, you are one in a krillion. |

Play Krillion Unlimited
The daily dive comes once a day — Krillion unlimited never stops. Unlimited mode deals seven random prompts from the entire question bank with the same 25-second timer, the same six rarity tiers and the same scoring as the daily game, so practice feels exactly like the real dive.
There is no daily cap, no login and nothing to install: you can play Krillion unlimited as many rounds as you like, and your best unlimited score is kept privately in your browser. It is the fastest way to warm up before today’s dive, chase a rare-answer streak, or learn which categories you think shallow in.
Improve Your Krillion Score
- 1Skip the first answer you think of — it is almost always Plankton territory.
- 2Think small and specific: island nations, micronations, deep-sea creatures and regional brands sink far deeper than countries, lions and fast food giants.
- 3Beware the Too Clever trap — the cheeky answer every try-hard gives (tomato as a fruit, Go as a board game) is common because thousands of players give it too.
- 4Use the full 25 seconds. Your second and third ideas are statistically rarer than your first.
- 5Mine niche categories: weather phenomena, card games, birds of prey and pasta shapes hide the 60–100 point answers.
- 6Learn the tier table above so you can feel what a Rare answer looks like before you submit.
- 7Finish every dive in Unlimited mode — repeated practice builds the “rarity instinct” that separates Schooler players from Deep Cut divers.

Krillion Game FAQ
What is the Krillion game?
The Krillion game is a daily rare-answer game. Each day brings a new dive with 7 prompts and 25 seconds per prompt. Instead of one correct solution, every prompt has a full answer sheet ranked across six rarity tiers — the rarer your answer, the more points you score.

How do rare answers work in Krillion?
Every prompt accepts around 15 to 25 answers, each assigned to a rarity tier: Plankton (5 points), Too Clever (10), Schooler (25), Rare (40), Deep Cut (60) and One in a Krillion (100). Obvious answers barely score, while genuinely obscure answers sink you deep and multiply your score.

Do I need an account to play Krillion?
No account is needed. The game runs entirely in your browser, and your best scores are saved locally on your device — we never ask for your email or personal details.
What happens if my answer isn't accepted?
If your answer is not on that prompt's answer sheet, the round scores zero points and the sheet is revealed at the end of the dive. The answer checker ignores capitalization, punctuation, hyphens and common alternate names, so "USA" style variations are handled automatically.
