Introduction

Krillion Game at krilliongame.org ("we", "us", or "our") is an unofficial, fan-made browser game. This privacy policy explains what information is handled when you play the Krillion game on this site. We designed the game to need as little of your data as possible: no account, no sign-up form and no payment details, ever.

Information We Collect

You do not need to give us any personal information to play. Specifically:

  • No account data. There are no user accounts, so we never collect names, email addresses, phone numbers or payment information.
  • Local game data. Your best scores and preferences are stored in your own browser using local storage. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us; clearing your browser data removes it.
  • Standard hosting logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard technical logs such as IP address, browser type and request time for security, abuse prevention and delivery of the site. We do not use these logs to profile you.

Cookies and Local Storage

We do not set advertising or analytics cookies. The game itself uses browser local storage (not cookies) under the keys krillion_best_daily and krillion_best_unlimited to remember your best scores on your own device. You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings without affecting gameplay.

Third-Party Services

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which acts as our content delivery network and security provider. Cloudflare processes technical data under its own privacy policy. We also link to the official Krillion website (krillion.io); once you leave krilliongame.org, that site's own privacy policy applies. We currently run no advertising networks and no analytics scripts.

Children's Privacy

The Krillion game is a family-friendly word game suitable for all ages. Because we do not collect personal information, we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or any other age group).

Your Rights

Since we do not build profiles and do not store personal data on our servers, there is normally nothing for us to hand over or delete. You remain in control of the only data the game creates — your local scores — via your browser settings. If you believe we have processed personal data about you and want to exercise access, correction or deletion rights, contact us and we will respond promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy as the site evolves — for example, if advertising or analytics are ever added, this page will describe them before they go live. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
